I saw this statue of a guardian angel in Reykjavík in the garden of the Einar Jonson Museum. He is reserved, introverted and silently praying and I can feel his contemplative strength he emanates without words, even though he seems to carry all the worries of the world on his shoulders.
He is weak and strong, masculin and ethereally beautiful, protective and in need to be protected - like someone I know and love so dearly.
